What a Week

What a week, started to construct the base of the car on the building board and managed by a combination of not pay attention and a square that was'nt square to make a complete cock up. I thought when I started that it was going to well, ah well.

I only discovered the errors when I turned the whole lot over to tack the other side. I tried untacking it but and reallining but it started to look messy so I will order some more steel from Armoto and try again.

Not wishing to waste the metal I knocked up a welding trolly nothing special but it will serve it's purpose a sort of Haynes Mk 1 and a bit

Right the first time I've ever done a Blog, so here goes. Hopefully over the next few? years you should see the Haynes Roadster take shape. It will be very much to the Book, as of yet I'm still undecided on the engine, at present the thinking is Pinto with Bike Carbs but I could yet be swayed to a K Series.



First job was to clear the garage and gain some workspace as you can see it was in a bit of a mess

Anyway a bit of hard graft and hey presto a tidy garage and help from Mad Dog Pippin.

Now the fun begins
